Few days ago the shepherd from the Ma'akeh Ahuviah ran away when a police officer arrived. The flock was on private Dir Jarir land. The settler in the big picture arrived, identified himself, and said he owned the flock. In the spring and summer, the Ma'aleh Ahuviah flock destroyed vineyards and groves and ate whatvwas planted in fields, not to mention that the settler presence prevented Palestinians from accessing their lands. The settler also asked why I didn't stop to talk to him when he chased after me in his car two days earlier. Another settler arrived on a horse.
