Recently, military cooperation with settlers is on the rise. The army operates at the demand of the settlers. In other words, settlers from illegal outposts cause harm to Palestinians who come to herd sheep or cultivate their legally owned land. An example of this is the illegal "Shorashim" farm which was established near the lands of the village of Zweidin.

0n April 26 Settlers from the farm attacked a shepherd on his land, beat him with a stick, stole his phone and fired their guns towards the ground.

On April 29 Many village residents tend to their sheep on their own land. Settlers from the farm entered the private land and expelled the grazing herds, claiming that the land belonged to them. The settlers, armed with rifles, roamed the land for an hour, provoked and harassed the Palestinians. After a while, soldiers came and claimed that the Palestinian shepherds had trespassed a land belonging to the settlement of Carmel. This was a false claim, since these are state lands that anyone can pass through. The soldiers allowed the settlers to stay on Palestinian land and forced the Palestinians to leave. A few hours later, soldiers entered the village of Zweidin, kidnapped five villagers, held for hours in a military base in the area, and released them only in the middle of the night in the Susia intersection.

All this information is an incomplete list of settler violence, based on statements and reports given by activists and investigators who observe the fields and document such events and their results. Incidents of settlers' violence ignored by the military or done in collaboration with the army are carried out every day in Areas C - Palestinian territories that are under full Israeli control and commitment. Law enforcement officials ignore settler violence as well. This is the executive arm of government policy. They enact a policy of daily harassment and damage to the property of poor farmers for whose land, herd, or olive trees are their only source of livelihood. The goal is to frustrate them enough to drive them away from their homes and source of livelihood. Some communities and villages have been overwhelmed and despaired by such violence, and they ended up leaving their homes and land.
