Data

Data from the West Bank - October 7, 2023 - June 7, 2024

Killed

‣ 516 Palestinians were killed by the military and/or colonists, 124 minors among them. One third of them during military raids in refugee camps.

‣ 12 Israelis were killed in the West Bank.


Wounded

As of June 3, 2024:

‣ 5,150 Palestinian were wounded, 800 minors among them. One third of them by live ammunition.

‣ 105 Israeli wounded.


Arrests

‣ As of June 6, 9,040 Palestinians were arrested (West Bank only):

◦ 610 of them are minors;

◦ 290 women;

◦ 75 journalists.

‣ As of May 31, 9,112 Palestinians are held in Israeli prisons (West Bank only):

◦ Of which 2,070 are prisoners, 2,733 detainees who have not yet been convicted, 3,410 administrative detainees, and 899 who are defined as "illegal combatants".

‣ 48 journalists are still detained - 21 of them in administrative detention.

‣ About 5,000 administrative arrest warrants (extension or new) were issued during this period.

‣ 18 inmates died in various circumstances, some of them due to violence, during this period. The bodies of 16 of them are still being held by Israel.

‣ 120 minors are held in Megiddo prison, 18 of them are Gazans, in unbearably over crowded cells (9 - 14 in a cell), bathing or changing clothes prevention. Reports of an acute outbreak of scabies.

Colonists violence

‣ As of June 3, 943 colonist attacks on Palestinians were documented, 195 of which ended in personal injury (12 dead and 231 injured).

Demolitions and displacements

‣ 964 buildings were destroyed. About 39% of them were inhabited.

‣ 2,038 persons were displaced, 890 minors among them.

‣ Over 50% - 1,082 – due to military raids and massive infrastructure destruction and damage to properties.

‣ 218 families, 978 persons (424 minors) are about to be evicted from their homes in East Jerusalem, Most of them by colonist organizations.

Palestinians killed

‣ 36,731, bodies rescued or brought to hospitals, of which (according to the Ministry of Communication):

◦ 15,438 children;

◦ 10,231 women;

◦ 498 members of medical staff;

◦ 70 members of rescue teams;

◦ 147 journalists;

◦ 7 mass graves where 520 bodies were found.

‣ About 10,000 are still missing. Of these (according to the Ministry of Health) 26,493 bodies were identified:

◦ 7,701 children, 5,466 women, 2,418 elderly persons, 10,830 men.


Israeli and foreign nationals killed

‣ About 1,210 Israelis and foreign nationals were killed on October 7th

‣ Of which 36 were children.

‣ 294 soldiers killed since the beginning of the ground invasion

‣ An estimated 45 of the hostages have been killed.


Palestinians wounded

‣ 83,530 wounded. Of these, 54,802 were identified:

◦ 2,685 minors;

◦ 14,369 women;

◦ 27,748 men;

◦ 19.6% of the critically wounded were moved to treatment outside Gaza;

◦ According to the World Health Organization, 14,000 await treatment. Only 46% of them have received an evacuation permission from the Israeli authorities;

◦ Since May 7th, no evacuation (the Rafah Crossing was closed).


Israelis wounded

‣ About 5,400 Israelis and foreign nationals were wounded on October 7th.

‣ 1,902 soldiers were wounded during the ground invasion.


Arrests

‣ Between 4,000 (according to Israel) and 5,000 (according to the Gaza Ministry of Communication) were arrested.

‣ Of these, known persons are 310 members of medical staffs and 20 journalists.

‣ The Israeli army has committed itself to establish an inquiry into the Sdeh Teiman facility following petitions on the issue.


Demolition and displacements

‣ Estimated at present are about 2 million displaced persons, many of them several times.

‣ Analysis of satellite images show dimensions of destruction through UNSAT organization. The analysis was carried out on May 3rd:

◦ 137,000 buildings were hit (55% of the buildings in The Gaza Strip);

◦ 36,591 were totally destroyed. This, before the massive bombings and shellings of the past 3 weeks that added about 50,000 damaged buildings according to OCHA OPT report.

Humanitarian crisis

‣ According to UNICEF, on the basis of 5 sample surveys and estimates (no way to gather real information):

◦ 9 out of every 10 children in The Gaza Strip is suffering malnutrition;

◦ The beds occupied in hospitals that still function as such: 439%;

◦ Medecins sans frontieres note that Al Aqsa Hospital is the only one functioning at the Central Strip as a “sinking ship” - bodies and wounded in critical condition lying on the ground or outside;

◦ 2 waves of bombings on June 4th and 5th have flooded the hospital with the killed and wounded. Its’ medical supplies and fuel are running out;

◦ There are 700 people hospitalized and it is providing services for one million persons.

At Rafah, the central hospitals have shut down, and only the maternity hospital is still partly functional;

◦ The World Kitchen Organization announced that one of its 3 kitchens in Deir Al Balah has been shelled and became inoperable.

Raids and arrests

In the night and day, the following localities were raided by the Israeli army: Anabta, ad-Dhahiriya, Dura, Burqa, as-Samu, Bethlehem, Jalazone refugee camp, Al Bireh, Qalqilya, Kafr 'Aqab, Dheisheh refugee camp, Nablus, Balata refugee camp, Burka, Issawiya, Yatta, Beita, Qabalan, Deir Sharaf, Al Arroub refugee camp, Silwad, Beit Ummar, Turmus Aya, Kafr Malik, Kafr Qaddum, Shuafat refugee camp, Dura el-Kari'a. At least 24 Palestinians were arrested, a woman and a physician among them (the woman was released later on).


Clashes

1. Anbata - east of Tulkarm, night raid following shooting at Einav checkpoint. Confrontations.

2. Balata refugee camp - east of Nablus, raid. A bulldozer, siege of a house, snipers on rooftops. Exchange of fire and improvised explosive charges. Arrests.

3. Burka - east of Ramallah, night raid and 4 violent arrests. Destruction of house contents.

4. Dheisheh refugee camp - south of Bethlehem, night raid and clashes.

5. Beita - south of Nablus, clashes. One person wounded by live gunfire.

6. Qabalan - south of Nablus, raid and clashes. Suffocation injuries.

7. Al Arroub refugee camp - north of Hebron, raid. Tear gas. Suffocation injuries.

8. Dura el-Kari'a - north of Ramallah, clashes during a raid.

9. Silwad - north-east of Ramallah, raid and clashes.



10. Beit Ummar - raid at night after throwing improvised fire bombs on Karmei Tzur colony. Confrontations. One person wounded by a rubber bullet.


Attacks against the army

1. Einav checkpoint - east of Tulkarm, shooting.

2. Al Arroub refugee camp - north of Hebron, improvised fire bombs on a military tower. A fire broke out.

3. Kfar Malik - east of Ramallah, shooting at a military vehicle.


Demolitions and blockades

1. Ein AL-dyouk - west of Jericho, Demolition of houses.



2. Aqabat Jaber refugee camp - south of Jericho, demolition of a house.

3. Issawiya - North-east Jerusalem, demolition of a car wash facility and a printing house (the owners were not allowed to demolish the place by themselves and were charged a NIS 48,000 fine).

4. Silwan - East Jerusalem, demolition of a 3-story residential building.



5. Tayasir checkpoint - east of Tubas, strict traveling restrictions disrupting water supply to the shepherds’ communities in the Palestinian Jordan Valley.


Attacks against colonists

1. Azzun - east of Qalqilya, stones thrown.

2. Karmei Tzur - north of Hebron, improvised fire bombs and firecrackers from the direction of Beit Ummar.


Colonists attacks

1. Route 60 - Nablus-Ramallah, colonists block the road.



2. Mukhmas - north-east of Jerusalem, night incursion, harassment and intimidation.

3. Al Khader - south of Bethlehem, colonists uprooted 300 vine seedlings, 100 olive seedlings and 100 almond seedlings.

4. Umm Al Khair - Masafer Yatta, colonists attack shepherds and prevent them from grazing.

5. Beita - south of Nablus, colonists raid Jabel Sabih and open fire.

6. Mu’arrajat - north-west of Jericho, colonists raid the community and attack shepherds.

 

Tuesday, May 28 – The Gaza Strip

‣ 5 fatal attacks;

‣ 46 persons killed;

‣ 110 wounded;

‣ 3 soldiers killed in South Rafah;

‣ 13 soldiers injured during the day;

‣ 24 hours.


Attacks against Israel

1. 2 rounds of sirens in the Gaza Envelope.

2. Direct hit at Ein Hashlosha.


Northern Strip

1. Beit Lahia - shelling near the Kamal Adwan hospital. 6 persons killed, a girl and a physician among them.

2. Beit Hanoun - several rounds of bombing. A child was killed.

3. Jabalia - night aerial bombardment, 4 killed, a child among them. Another round later in the day. 2 persons killed.

4. Gaza City:

‣ Al Daraj neighborhood - night bombing, 3 persons killed;



‣ Al Zeitoun – Artillery.


Central Strip

1. Al Bureij refugee camp - night bombing. A father and his son were killed. Artillery and another round of aerial bombardment during the day.

2. Al Zawaida - aerial bombardment.

3. Deir al-Balah - artillery east of the city.

4. Al Maghazi refugee camp - artillery east of the camp.

5. Nuseirat refugee camp - artillery north of the camp. One person killed.

6. Al Mughraqa - artillery. 2 persons killed.


Southern Strip

1. Rafah - massive attacks, mainly on the west side of the city and downtown. 16 persons killed throughout the city during night bombardments:



‣ The west side of the city - shelling during all day long at Tel Al Sultan, near the Indonesian hospital and clinic. Both stopped functioning. Shooting at journalists and at an ambulance. 2 hospital staff members killed. 7 persons killed in a bombing on a displaced persons camp;



‣ 3 persons killed in another bombing;

‣ Bombing in the Al Mawasi area in the evening – 21 persons killed according to Palestinians sources. The Israeli army denies;



‣ The east side of the city - 2 persons killed in bombing;

‣ The south side of the city - Philadelphia rout, an engineering force enters a trapped house. 3 soldiers killed. 10 tunnels were discovered.

 

Tuesday, May 28 – Northern Israeli Border

Attacks against Israel

1. Barrage on a military position at Ramim ridge.

2. Direct hit at Shetula - twice during the day.

3. Barrage on Kfar Gil’adi.

4. Missiles on Malkia.

5. Rockets on Avivim.

6. Sirens in Misgav Am and Metula.

7. 124 houses were damaged in Kiryat Shmona since October 7, 2023.


Attacks against South Lebanon

1. Air raids on: Khiam, Ayta ash Shab, Meiss Al Jabal (a building collapsed and a fire broke out), Bint Jbeil.

2. Artillery on: Naqoura, Kafr Hamam.

 

Wednesday, May 29 – The West Bank

Raids and arrests

In the night and day, the following localities were raided by the Israeli army: Silwad, Shuweika, Kafr Malik, Shuafat refugee camp, Burqa, Shuyukh, Sa’ir, Hebron, Tubas, Tarqumiyah, Atil, Qalqilya, Tulkarm, Tammun, Nablus, Madama, Asira al-Qibliya, Al Fawwar refugee camp, Azzun, Ras Karkar, Al Funduq, Sarra, Arraba, Kafr Ra'i, Fahma, Jalbun, Al Arroub refugee camp. At least 34 Palestinians were arrested, a journalist, 3 women and 5 minors among them.

Wafa Jarar, the administrative detainee who was hospitalized in a serious condition, was released after 2 days of administrative detention and transferred to a Palestinian hospital.

1. Shuweika suburb - north of Tulkarm, night raid. Confrontations. Exchange of fire. Improvised explosive charge.

2. Sa'ir - north-east of Hebron - night raid. Throwing stones.

3. Tubas - night raid. Clashes and exchange of fire. Improvised explosive charge. 3 soldiers were injured.

4. Shuyukh - north of Hebron, raid and arrests.

5. Silwad - north-east of Ramallah, raid. Live gunshots. No casualties reported.

6. Sarra - west of Nablus, raid on a high school. The management was detained in one room.



Violent detention of 4 students and an assault on one of the teachers, because he was documenting. The students were released after a short time.



7. Al Fawwar refugee camp - south of Hebron, raid and clashes.

8. Azzun - east of Qalqilya, clashes.

9. Beit Ummar - north of Hebron, clashes in the Al Dahar area.

10. Turmus Aya - north-east of Ramallah, night raid. Shooting at Palestinian vehicles. No casualties reported.

11. Shuafat Refugee Camp - North-east Jerusalem, night raid. Tear gas and stun grenades. Arrests.

12. Madama - south of Nablus, raid. Tear gas. Suffocation injuries.

13. Al Arroub refugee camp - north of Hebron, night raid. Tear gas and stun grenades.


Attacks against the army

1. Awarta checkpoint - south-east of Nablus, a Palestinian vehicle ran over 2 soldiers who were inspecting vehicles at the checkpoint, and seriously injured them. Fled towards Nablus.

2. Tayasir checkpoint - east of Tubas, improvised explosive charge detonated.

3. Dotan checkpoint - south-west of Jenin, shooting at the checkpoint.


Demolitions

1. Ras Al Amoud – demolition of a house.


Attacks against colonists

‣ Some of the settlements are within the Green Line (1949 Armistice Agreements) and are therefore not defined as colonies.

1. Bat Hefer (community within the Green Line) - west of Tulkarm, shooting at the community from the suburb of Shuweika.



2. Gan Ner (community within the Green Line) - north of Jenin, shooting at the community.



3. Huwara - south of Nablus, throwing stones at vehicles.

4. Karmei Tzur - north of Hebron, firecrackers from the direction of Beit Ummar.


Colonists attacks

1. Qusra - south-east of Nablus, colonists blocked two farm roads with mounds of dirt to prevent farmers from reaching their lands.

2. Susia - Masafer Yatta, Wadi Rahim area - a colonist, dressed in uniform, threatened farmers with a gun.



3. Artas - south of Bethlehem, new outpost.

4. Burin - south of Nablus, colonists raid and vandalize vehicles.

5. Ras Al Ain - north-west of Jericho, invasion of the community. Intimidation.

6. Shab Al Butm - Masafer Yatta, once again the Military Coordinator of the nearby colony harass a family that was deported in October and returned to their home.

 

Wednesday, May 29 – The Gaza Strip

‣ 6 fatal attacks;

‣ 75 persons killed;

‣ 284 wounded;

‣ 5 soldiers were killed in Rafah;

‣ 26 soldiers were injured, 9 of them seriously;

‣ 24 hours.


Northern Strip

1. Gaza City:

‣ Al Daraj neighborhood - shelling. 5 persons killed in a house;

‣ Sheikh Radwan neighborhood - 3 persons killed;

‣ Shuja'iya - heavy machine guns shooting;



‣ Al Rimal neighborhood - shelling of a house;

‣ Al Zeitoun - aerial bombardment.

2. Beit Lahia - 3 persons killed in drone attack.

3. Beit Hanoun - shelling of a house.

4. Jabalia - fierce battles:

‣ Systematic detonation of residential buildings;

‣ Drones attack east of the camp, 2 persons killed.


Central Strip

1. Nuseirat refugee camp - bombings north of the camp. 1 person killed and several wounded.

2. Al Bureij refugee camp - heavy machine gun fire east of the camp.

3. Deir Al Balah - bombing of a displaced persons camp in the west side of the city – 1 person killed and several wounded.

4. Al Zahra - 5 family members killed and several wounded.


Southern Strip

1. Khan Yunis:

‣ Bombing east of the city - 2 children killed;

‣ Another bombing - 7 persons killed, 2 girls among them.



2. Rafah - a day of battles in the south and east:

◦ Massive bombings in the west and downtown;

◦ 21 residents and displaced persons were killed during the day.

‣ Tel Al Sultan (West):

◦ Shooting at an ambulance, 2 paramedics killed;

◦ Shelling. 3 persons killed in a house;

◦ A girl was killed in another shelling.

‣ North of the city - bombing a house: a mother and her 3 children were killed;

‣ East of the city - 8 persons wounded by artillery;

‣ South Rafah - 5 soldiers were killed in two separate incidents.

 

Wednesday, May 29 – Northern Israeli Border

Attacks against Israel

1. Interception of a drone near Rosh HaNikra.

2. Missile barrage on Shetula (fell in open fields).

3. Anti-tank missiles on Manara.

4. A barrage on Malkia.

5. Sirens in the Galilee Panhandle and Hula valley. Iron Dome intercepted 2 drones.

6. Direct hit at a Ramim ridge.

7. Fires in the Upper Galilee.

8. 3 rounds of sirens due to drone infiltration concerns, in the Upper Galilee.

9. Missiles on Dov mountain.


Attacks against South Lebanon

1. Artillery on Al Jebbayn, Aalma El Chaeb, Kafrkela, Rachaya Al Foukhar.

2. Aerial attack on the Syrian city of Baniyas (10 persons injured. Massive damage).

 

Thursday, May 30 – The West Bank

Israelis killed

1. Eliya Hilel, 20 years old, Tel Zion.

2. Diego Shvisha Harsaj, 20 years old, Tel Aviv.

Both were killed Tuesday night (May 28), in the stampede attack at the Awarta checkpoint.


Palestinians killed

1. Wajih al-Ramahi, 20 years old, Al Bireh.


Raids and arrests

In the night and day, the following localities were raided by the Israeli army: Madama, Nablus, Balata refugee camp, Tulkarm, Azzun, Al Bireh, Ramallah, Al Arroub refugee camp, Beit Furik, Tubas, Jenin, Kafr Al Labad, Burqin, Ein Yabrud, Beit Awa, Silat ad-Dhahr, Duma, Idna, Marah Rabah, A Ram, Shuafat refugee camp, Faqqua. At least 26 Palestinians were arrested, 4 women and a minor among them.

‣ The attacker at the Awarta checkpoint handed himself over to the Palestinian Authority's security forces.


Clashes

1. Ramallah - night raid on the city center. At the epicenter, arrests and a raid on a currency exchange dealer. Confrontations. A fire broke out (tear gas canisters), and consumed a large part of the vegetable and fruit market.



2. Al Bireh - raid and extended clashes. Exchange of fire. 1 person killed and 3 injured (one in serious condition).

3. Balata refugee camp - east of Nablus, a night till morning raid. Some of the forces are moving towards Joseph's tomb. A drone bombs a building at the entrance to the camp. Confrontations. A bulldozer starts a demolition. 2 persons wounded. The vehicle involved in the Awarta checkpoint attack was found.



4. Tubas – raid. Bulldozer. Clashes and exchange of fire.

5. Ein Yabrud - east of Ramallah, raid. Tear gas. Tear gas canister ignited a fire.



6. Jenin - a several hours raid on a number of neighborhoods. Bulldozers demolished infrastructure on top of infrastructure that had already been destroyed in previous raids. Snipers near the government hospital. Clashes, exchange of fire. The forces activated explosive charges. 7 persons injured by live bullets, in a mild to moderate condition.



7. Kfar A Labad - east of Qalqilya, raid and clashes.

8. Idna - west of Hebron, raid. Tear gas and stun grenades. No casualties reported.

9. A Ram - north of Jerusalem, tear gas canisters ignited a fire at the entrance.




Demolitions

1. Ein AL-dyouk - west of Jericho, additional demolition and sealing of a well with cement.

2. Tura al-Gharbiya - south-west of Jenin, demolition of a house and uprooting of trees.

3. Jabel Mukaber - South-east Jerusalem, demolition order for a residential building with 50 tenants.

4. Faqqua - north-east of Jenin, demolition of an agricultural container.

5. Issawiya - North-east Jerusalem, A resident of the neighborhood was forced to demolish his house. 10 tenants were displaced.


Attacks against colonists

1. Karmei Tzur - north of Hebron - shooting at the colony.


Colonists attacks

1. Beit Furik checkpoint - east of Nablus, clashes between residents of Beit Furik and colonists who were secured by the army.



2. Mukhmas - north-east of Jerusalem, colonists attack residents.

3. Deir Dibwan - east of Ramallah, colonists try to set tents on fire.



4. Deir Sharaf - north-west of Nablus, colonists attack Palestinian vehicles.

5. ad-Dhahiriya - south of Hebron, colonists attack and beat a shepherd.

6. Al Mu'arrajat - north-west of Jericho, the daily round of intimidation.

7. Al Louzah - Masafer Yatta, colonists set up a caravan, destroy crops and uproot olive trees.

8. Nablus-Tulkarm road - colonists throwing stones.

 

Thursday, May 30 – The Gaza Strip

‣ 5 fatal attacks;

‣ 53 persons killed;

‣ 357 wounded;

‣ An Israeli soldier was killed;

‣ 16 soldiers were injured, 2 of them seriously;

‣ Another baby died from malnutrition and dehydration. Fa'iz Abu Atiya weighed 1.5 kilos on his death;

‣ 24 hours.


Attacks against Israel

1. Rockets on Nirim.

2. Rockets on Netivot.


Northern Strip



1. Jabalia - the army retreated from the camp it invaded on May 12, but aerial bombardment and artillery shelling continue:



‣ 7 persons killed in an attack on a school where displaced persons take shelter;

‣ 12 bodies were recovered from ruins;

‣ Snipers shooting at civilians trying to return home.



2. Beit Lahia - 3 persons killed in the shelling.

3. Beit Hanoun - Artillery. 9 persons killed in a bombing of a house.

4. Gaza City:

‣ Al Zeitoun – Artillery;

‣ Al Shati refugee camp – 1 person killed and 6 wounded;

‣ Al Sabra – 1 person killed and several wounded;

‣ Tel Al Hawa - 3 persons killed by snipers.


Central Strip

1. Nuseirat refugee camp - 4 persons killed, 2 women among them, and 15 wounded in a night bombing.

2. Al Maghazi refugee camp - battles. Heavy machine gun fire.

3. Al Bureij refugee camp - artillery, several wounded.


Southern Strip

1. Rafah - 19 Palestinians were killed in different locations in the city:



‣ East side of the city - shooting from helicopters and artillery;

‣ West side of the city - artillery;

‣ City center - shooting at people who tried to recover a body from the ruins.

 

Thursday, May 30 – Northern Israeli Border

Attacks against Israel

1. A cruise missile intercepted in the southern Golan.

2. Sirens in Margaliot.

3. Sirens in Kfar Gil’adi.

4. Matat – direct hit at a military base.

5. Sirens in Betzet and Shlomi, Iron Dome intercepts an Israeli drone.

6. Sirens in Zar’it - 5 rockets fell in open fields.


Attacks against South Lebanon

1. Artillery on Aitaroun.

2. Aerial bombardment on Maroun Al Ras and Hula (2 persons killed).

 

Friday, May 31 – The West Bank

Raids and arrests

In the night and day, the following localities were raided by the Israeli army: Qalqilya, Beit Ummar, Shuafat refugee camp, Marah Rabah, Faqqua, Nablus, Beita, Kafr Ni’ma, Burka, Kafr Qaddum, Deir Ghasana, Al Fawwar refugee camp, Asira al-Qibliya, Burqa, Bizzariya, Shuweika, Baqat al-Hatab. No arrest data was provided. At least 10 arrestees are known.


Clashes

1. Kfar Malik - east of Ramallah, night raid. Confrontations.

2. Qalqilya - night raid. Confrontations. 1 person wounded by live bullet.

3. Nablus - raid on several neighborhoods in the east and north of the city. Confrontations. Exchange of fire. 1 person wounded by live bullet.

4. Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, raid. Exchange of fire. Improvised explosive chargers. A bulldozer destroys part of a shopping center.

5. Burka - east of Ramallah, raid during Friday prayer. Tear gas. Live ammunition. Suffocation injuries.

6. Beita - south of Nablus, raid on the home of the perpetrator of the stampede attack at Awarta checkpoint. The house has been sealed.

7. Kfar Qaddum - east of Qalqilya, snipers are positioned on rooftops. The intention is not yet clear.

8. Al Fawwar refugee camp - south of Hebron, raid and clashes. A paramedic was injured by rubber bullets.

9. Sheikh Jarrah - East Jerusalem, Suppression of a memorial guard on the anniversary of Faisal Husseini death.

In the night and day, the following localities were raided by the Israeli army: Sa’ir, Jenin, Kafr Dan, Burqin, Qalqilya, Beit Ummar, Al Yamun, Al Bireh, Kafr Aqab, Nablus, Silat ad-Dhahr, Balata refugee camp, Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, Jayus, Bethlehem. At least 20 Palestinians were arrested, a woman among them.


Clashes

1. Sa'ir - north-east of Hebron, night raid. Live ammunition.

2. Kfar Dan - north-west of Jenin, night raid and ongoing clashes. Exchange of fire. Arrests.

3. Burqin - west of Jenin, night raid and clashes.

4. Qalqilya - night raid. An improvised explosive charge was thrown during the withdrawal of the force.

5. Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, raid. Bulldozers. The bulldozer destroyed a shop and vendors' stands in the market area for the eighth time. A drone attack in the Al Jamasin neighborhood (no casualties reported). Clashes, exchange of fire and 3 improvised explosive charges. 3 persons injured by live bullets.



6. Beit Ummar - north of Hebron, military forces forcibly evicted farmers from the lands between Karmei Tzur and Beit Ummar. Tear gas canisters ignited a fire that spread fast and consumed fruit tree plantations, greenhouses and agricultural equipment. Damage estimated value of half a million shekels.



7. Silat ad-Dhahr - south of Jenin, raid and clashes. Improvised fire bombs on military vehicles.

8. Aqabat Jaber refugee camp - south of Jericho, a military force in an ambush opens fire at short range, at two boys who happened to come across it. Both were injured. The force denied access of an ambulance, and one of the boys bled to death at the scene. The second boy was arrested and taken to an Israeli hospital. The parents were not informed of his condition. He died of his wounds the following day. The circumstances of the ambush and the incident are unclear.

9. Masafer Yatta - south of Hebron, a military force chases shepherds and spread their herds away using a drone in Ma’in, Shab el Butm and Um Fagarah.

10. Al Bireh - a Palestinian was shot near Psagot and transferred to the Red Crescent.

Raids and arrests

In the night and day, the following localities were raided by the Israeli army: Al Khader (Solomon’s Pools site), Madama, ad-Dhahiriya, Beit Ummar, Beitunia, Jaba’, Taffuh, Azzun, Tubas, Umm Safa, Silwan, Marda, Jalbun, Far'a refugee camp. At least 18 Palestinian arrested, a minor, a woman and 5 Gazans among them.


Clashes

1. Jaba’ - south of Jenin, night raid and clashes including exchanges of fire.

2. Nabi Musa - north of Jericho, the forces attack a group of Palestinian bikers, beat two of them, who were rushed to the hospital. Several are detained for a short time.

3. Madama - south of Nablus, colonists raid the outskirts of the village in the morning. Residents confront them. The army, in turn, raids the village. In the evening, clashes develop with the army.

4. Dotan checkpoint - south-west of Jenin, clashes.

At least 20 Palestinians were arrested.


Clashes

Joseph's Tomb


1. Nablus - the night’s events: Reinforced forces raid the east of the city and the Balata refugee camp. A bulldozer blocked roads with mounds of dirt, and the entire area was closed.



Confrontations. Colonists, backed by the army, went to Joseph's Tomb from of Mount Gerizim. After several hours the forces retreated. One colonist stayed behind and crept into the grave, was beaten by Palestinians and rescued by PA security forces.



The following evening's events: A special forces unit entered a wedding hall during a wedding preparations. The bride's brother, a wanted person, discovers them. Clashes and exchange of fire begun. The bride's brother was shot and his body was dragged away by the forces. Another fatally wounded person was pulled out of an ambulance and died later. Another injured person died several hours later. 3 persons killed, 8 wounded.



2. Kfar Malik - east of Ramallah, night raid and exchange of fire.

3. Aqabah - south of Tubas, night raid and clashes.

4. Al Jwaya - Masafer Yatta, soldiers raid a house, detain a woman and beat an elderly woman.

1. The Tunnels checkpoint - west of Bethlehem, a security guard was injured when a vehicle declined stoppage at the checkpoint and fled.

Day and night, Israeli forces raided Biddya, Burka, Bethlehem, Tulkarm, Bani Na’im, Qalqilya, Sa’ir, Asira Al Qibliya, Nablus, Husan, Al Jib, Burqa, Birzeit, Illar, Silwad, Beit Ijza, Jericho, Salem, Al Arroub refugee camp, Osarin, Wadi Fukin, Jamma'in.

At least 22 persons were arrested. Among them - Omar Al Ja’abari who was released at checkpoint ad-Dhahiriya from administrative detention - in which he was held for half a year - and now was arrested again for another administrative detention term.


Clashes

1. Tulkarm - following last night’s fire close to Nitzanei Oz Checkpoint, Israeli forces raided the western part of the city, as snipers fired at every passing vehicle. 2 Palestinians were killed, suspected for being the ones to fire at the checkpoint. Ambulance access was denied.

2. Qalqilya - nocturnal raid of a changer shop. Confrontations included an improvised explosive charge. One person wounded by live fire.

3. Burqa, north-west of Nablus - nocturnal raid with live fire.

4. Al Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron - confrontations.

5. Jamma'in, south of Nablus - raid and confrontations.

6. Salem - east of Nablus - confrontations during raid of shops. A 17-year old was wounded by live fire.

Wednesday, June 5 - The West Bank

Raids and arrests

During the night and day, Israeli forces raided Jenin, Kafr Dan, Al Mughayyir, Yatta, Kafr Malik, Al Fawwar refugee camp, Beit Ummar, Nablus, Burqin, Dura, Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, Qaddum, Tulkarm, Anabta, Tuqu’a, Kafr A Labad, Beit Awa. 50 persons were arrested, 19 remained in custody, a woman among them.


Clashes

1. Jenin and city and refugee camp - massive raid past midnight accompanied by bulldozers. House searches. Confrontations including improvised explosive charges. 3 persons wounded by live fire, a minor among them. Bulldozers began demolishing infrastructures and martyr memorials.



2. Kafr Dan, west of Jenin - raid past midnight accompanied by bulldozers. Confrontations. Arrests. Fire exchanges. Bulldozer demolishes infrastructures and vandalizes property.



3. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron - nocturnal raid accompanied by bulldozer that began demolishing infrastructures. 29 persons arrested and detained, interrogations carried out on the ground. Most arrestees released after a few hours.

4. Al Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron - nocturnal raid and confrontations including fire exchange.

5. Kafr Malik, east of Ramallah - nocturnal raid, 30 persons arrested and detained for interrogation. Mos of them released.



6. Burqin, west of Jenin - nocturnal raid and confrontations including fire at bulldozer that began to destroy infrastructures.

7. Nablus - Nocturnal raid of shops in the Old City, vandalizing their contents.

8. Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, south of Jericho - special forces surround a house. Snipers placed on surrounding buildings. Arrest.

9. Tulkarm - house surrounded at mid-day. Person wounded by live fire is arrested and ambulance access is prevented.

10. Anabta, east of Tulkarm - raid and confrontations.


Attacks against the army

1. Kafr A Labad, east of Tulkarm - improvised grenade thrown at soldiers.


Demolitions and confiscations

1. Shuweika, north of Tulkarm - cessation of construction orders issued to several houses.

2. Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit - concrete mixer confiscated during construction work and demolition of building foundations.

3. Kifl Hares, North-west of Salfit - orchard ground flattened by bulldozer, adult olive and almost trees uprooted.



Attacks against colonists

1. Burin, south of Nablus - stones thrown at vehicles.

2. Tuqu’a, south-east of Bethlehem - stones thrown at vehicles.

3. Shaked, south-west of Jenin - shots fired at locality.


Colonists attacks



1. East Jerusalem, Old City - the flag march. About 40,000 persons participated, secured by 3000 policemen. Prior to the march, colonists entered the Old City market and several neighborhoods shouting slur slogans, attacking stands and passers-by, even journalists.



The police distanced journalists and detained journalist Saif Al Qawasmi who was attacked and wounded, while journalist Nir Hasson protected him (and was also attacked). Then the march began at Damascus Gate, continuing to the Western (Wailing) Wall to the celebrations there.



2. Wadi Qana, north-west of Salfit - colonists flattened lands with a bulldozer as part of their project to turn them into a Jews-only park.

3. Beit Ula, north-west of Hebron - colonists flatten the ground with a bulldozer and ignite olive and almond trees.

4. Khirbet A Deir, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley - colonists continue to turn the natural spring into a Jews-only recreation area.

5. A Thal’a, Masafer Yatta - colonists plant olive trees in areas belonging to Palestinians who are prevented from tending them.

 

Wednesday, June 5 - The Gaza Strip

‣ 4 lethal attacks;

‣ 36 persons killed;

‣ 115 persons wounded;

‣ From dawn to midnight, 100 Gaza Strip inhabitants were killed;

‣ 10 Israeli soldiers were killed in battle;

‣ 24 hours.

Northern Strip

1. Gaza City:

‣ Al Sabra neighborhood - drones drop firebombs around the power plant;

‣ Shuja’iya - aerial bombing;

‣ Al Zeitoun neighborhood - artillery fire for most of the day. 3 persons killed and 10 wounded. 30 wounded persons, mostly children, from heavy machine gun fire;

‣ Al Rimal - 4 persons killed by bombing.


Central Strip

‣ Massive attacks (artillery fire, drones, machine guns, tank invasions east of Al Bureij) on Al Bureij, north of Nuseirat, Al Mughraqa, Al Zahara, Deir Al Balah, Al Maghazi.

‣ Al Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al Balah cannot withstand the crowding.

1. Al Maghazi refugee camp:

‣ 3 persons killed in a bombed house;

‣ Building bombed near the market - 4 persons killed.



2. Al Bureij refugee camp:


Displaced again. This time, from Al Bureij


‣ One minor killed in nocturnal attack;

‣ 2 persons killed by artillery fire;

‣ House bombed - 5 persons killed.

3. Deir Al Balah - 3 persons killed.

4. Nuseirat refugee camp - 3 shells fired at displaced persons shelter. The Israeli army claims precise shooting.



40 persons killed, of them 14 children and 9 women. 74 wounded, 24 of them children and 18 women. In another bombing, parents and their two children killed.
