Every child has a name and a face and a life that they lived, and many more days of life that they didn't.

Israel has killed 28 Palestinian minors since the beginning of 2023, and these are their names (and had one seen the injuries on their bodies, one would have thought that they were targets in a shooting gallery):

January

2.1.2023 - Fouad Mohammed Abed, 17 years old, was shot multiple times in the stomach, pelvis and legs during a raid on Kafr Dan.

3.1.2023 - Adam Essam Ayad, 15 years old, was shot in the back and in the arm during a raid on Dheisha Refugee Camp.

5.1.2023 - Amer Abu Zeitoun, 16 years old, was shot in the head and leg and died during a raid on the Balata Refugee Camp.

16.1.2023 - Amro Khaled Al-Khmour, 14 years old, was shot in the head during a raid on Dheisha Refugee Camp.

25.1.2023 - Wadih Aziz Abu Ramouz, 16 years old, was shot in the heart during clashes in Silwan. Died after two days. His body was returned to the family on June 2.

25.1.2023 - Mohammad Ali, 16 years old, was shot in the back and killed during clashes in Anata.

26.1.2023 - Abdallah Mousa, 17 years old, shot in the chest during a raid in Jenin. The army blocked ambulance access, until he died.

26.1.2023 - Naif al-Awdat, 10 years old, died after being injured during the month of August in an air raid on Gaza.

February

7.2.2023 - Hamza Amjad Al-Ashqar, 16 years old, was shot in the mouth and on the left side of his body during a raid on Askar Refugee Camp.

13.2.2023 - Qussai Radwan Waked, 14 years old, was shot and killed during a raid on Jenin Refugee Camp.

14.2.2023 - Mahmoud Majed Al-Ayedi, 17 years old, was shot in the head during a raid on Al Fara Refugee Camp.

22.2.2023 - Montaser Mohamamd Thieb Shawwa, 16 years old, was shot in the mouth by a sniper, during a raid on Balata Refugee Camp. Died two weeks later.

22.2.2023 - Mohammad Farid Sha’ban, 16 years old, was shot during a military raid on Nablus.

March

2.3.2023 - Mohammad Nidal Salim, 17 years old, was shot in the back during a raid on Azzun.

7.3.2023 - Walid Sa’ad Daoud Nassar, 15 years old, was shot in the stomach during a raid on Jenin Refugee Camp. Died two days later.

10.3.2023 - Amir Mamoun Odah, 14 years old, was shot in the chest at the entrance to Qalqilya.

16.3.2023 - Omar Mohammad Awadin, 14 years old, was shot in the back while riding his bicycle near the family store, during a raid on Jenin.

April

10.4.2023 - Mohammad Fayez Balhan, 15 years old, was shot 4 times in the head, chest, abdomen and pelvis when the army fired indiscriminately in Aqabat Jaber Refugee Camp.

28.4.2023 - Mustafa Amer Sabah, 15 years old, was shot in the heart during a raid on Tuqu.

May

1.5.2023 - Jibril Mohammad Al-Lad’a, 17 years old, was shot in the head during a raid on the Aqabat Jaber Refugee Camp.

9.5.2023 - Mayar Tareq Ibrahim Ezzeddin, 11 years old, and Ali Tareq Ibrahim Ezzeddin, 8 years old, were killed during the aerial bombardment on Gaza. Their father was wanted.

9.5.2023 - Hajar Khalil Salah Al-Bahtini, 5 years old, was killed during an aerial bombardment on Gaza. Her father was wanted.

9.5.2023 - Eman Ala’ Ata Adas, 14 years old, was killed during an aerial bombardment on Gaza. She was a neighbor of a wanted man.

10.5.2023 - Lian Bilal Medookh, 10 years old, was killed during an aerial bombardment on Gaza.

10.5.2023 - Tamim Mahmoud Daoud, 5 years old, died of fear! during an aerial bombardment on Gaza.

10.5.2023 - Yazan Fathi Elian, 16 years old, was killed during an aerial bombardment on Gaza.

June

6.6.2023 - Mohammed al-Tamimi (Hamoudi), 2.5 years old, was shot in the head by an Israeli sniper in Nabi Saleh.
