1. Khaled Samer Al-Za’anin, 14 years old, from Beit Hanina, east of Jerusalem. An athlete. He was shot at point blank range on Wednesday evening, Aug 30, after attacking a 25 years old man with a knife, in the Light Rail station of Shivtei Israel, in the Musrara neighborhood. A man that was present pushed him down and kicked the knife away, and that’s when the soldier shot him at a point blank range. No medical care was given, and he bled to death. In the background people were clapping.

Later, the military forces raided his home, and took his parents and two bothers for questioning. They were released after a few hours. The funeral procession was also attacked by the military forces, who scattered participants and detained one of them. He is the 36 minor killed in the occupied territories in 2023.

2. Daoud Abdul-Razeq Daras, 41 years old, father of 5, from Deir 'Ammar Refugee Camp, North-West of Ramalla. On Thursday, around noon, he ran over a group of soldiers standing by a food stand in the Beit Sira checkpoint. He killed one and injured 5 more, in different levels of severity.

He continued to Ni'lin checkpoint, where he was shot by the border police, and critically injured. After a few hours an announcement about his death was issued. His family members say that a few days earlier he was detained at the Beit Sira checkpoint, was beaten and humiliated for several hours, and suffered from bruises. He couldn’t return to functioning normally since.

3. Abdul-Rahim Fayez Ghannam, 36 years old from Aqaba, North of Tubas. On Friday, Sept 1st, he was shot in his head and died from the wounds, when military forces raided the village, looking for a person of interest (who got away). Confrontations began. Witnesses reported that he was not involved in the confrontations. 3 more people were injured from live and rubber bullets. He was a teacher and a farmer. With his death, the number of people killed in the occupied territories has reached 197 (Gaza strip not included).

Israeli Fatalities:

1. Maxim Molchanov, 20 years old. Born in Ukraine. Immigrated to Israel a few years ago and was a lone soldier, serving in the Artillery Corps. On Thursday, Aug 31st, he was on his way to a team building activity in modi’in. On his way to a bus stop near the Beit Sira checkpoint, a Palestinian, driving a van, ran him over. He was critically injured, and died a few hours later. 5 more people were injured as well: 4 Israelis and 1 Palestinian.

2. Detainees and Administrative detainees:

‣ Since the beginning of 2023, Israel has filed 2,200 requests for administrative detention warrants, new and extensions combined.

‣ Four of the detained continue their ongoing hunger strike: Kayed al-Fasfous, 31 days in protest of his administrative detention; Sultan Ahmad Khallouf, 31 days in protest of his administrative detention; Abdulrahman Iyad Baraqah, 24 days in protest of his administrative detention; Maher al-Akhras, 11 days in protest of his administrative detention. He’s in a bad health condition.

‣ Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of National Security, declared that starting Sunday, Sept 3, Palestinians prisoners’ family visits will be limited to once every two months, contrary to the recommendations of the Israeli Security Agency (Shabak) and the Israeli Prison Service.

Attacks on Palestinians by the Occupation forces (IOF)

1. Ya’bad, Southwest of Jenin, Monday early morning. The forces fired on 4 Palestinians in a café. All were injured, one in a severe condition. 3 were arrested and their vehicle confiscated. A paramedic who tried to medically assist was beaten by soldiers with rifle butts. He suffered fractures and contusions. The reason: The army claims they were involved in a shooting event towards the adjacent Dotan checkpoint. They later continued to raid the town and confiscate video from the surveillance cameras.

Tuesday, an additional raid and house searches. Damage to house content. Wednesday, an additional raid. Searches in the house of a released prisoner. He was violently attacked. They supposedly searched for explosive material, used dogs and damaged the house content.

2. Azzun, East of Qalqilya, Monday. Closure of the iron gate in both main entrances. Thereafter, the forces raided homes and performed searches, no arrests were reported. On Tuesday an additional raid with clashes. A soldier was injured during the clashes. On Wednesday evening, clashes in which the Palestinians threw home-made bombs. A Palestinian was shot in the neck.

3. Balata Refugee Camp, East of Nablus, Monday early morning. Raid. Clashes, fire exchange and improvised explosive device. No report of casualties.

4. Beitunia, west of Ramallah, Monday. Clashes near Ofer Prison. Forces fired teargas and threw stun grenades. Thursday, raid, the forces reported the destruction of a lathe, used to create explosive devices.

5. Kharbatha Bani Harith, west of Ramallah, Monday. the Forces raided the village to confiscate a bulldozer. Clashes developed on site. No report of casualties.

6. Monday raids without casualties: Al-Arroub Refugee Camp, Az-Zawiya, Surif, Ayda Refugee Camp, Hebron, Anabta, Beita, Rummanah

7. Beit Ummar, North of Hebron, Tuesday early morning. Raid with gunfire exchange. Wednesday, the forces raided the Safa area in town. They shot rubber bullets, teargas and stun grenades towards houses. Multiple suffocation injuries.

8. Silwan, east Jerusalem, Monday. Raid on Ein al-Luza neighborhood with vehicle confiscation.

Tuesday, raid on Ath Thuri neighborhood, arrest of recently-released prisoner and his brother. On Thursday, an additional raid on Ein al-Luza neighborhood. Clashes in which the forces shot teargas massively. Multiple suffocation injuries, including a 4-month-old infant who was rushed to the hospital.

9. Al-Auja, north of Jericho, Tuesday early morning. Forces raided the area near the sports court in the city center. Clashes, the forces shot teargas and stun grenades.

10. Checkpoint north of Qalqilya, Tuesday at dawn. Workers blocked road 55 near the checkpoint, in protest of the holdups in the barrier. The forces held back the transfer vehicles, and handed out reports to all drivers. The forces started shooting rubber bullets, live ammunition and teargas. A worker was injured and many other suffered from suffocation. A policeman was also wounded from stone throwing.

11. Khan el-Akhmar, east of Jerusalem. An armed security guard from Kfar Adumim (known in the area as someone who harasses the Bedouins) held back a 10-years-old boy while threatening him, very far away from the village. Two relatives aged 18 and 20 came to rescue the frightened and scared boy. The police also arrived and arrested the two relatives.

12. Raids without altercation on Tuesday: Baytin, Siris (arrests), Silwad (Arrests), Al-Lubban al-Gharbi, Jalazone Refugee Camp.

13. Tulkarm, Wednesday early morning. Raid in the eastern neighborhood with clashes and fire exchange.

14. Dayr Dibwan, east of Ramallah, Wednesday. Raid and clashes. Friday, following stone throwing on a settlers’ bus, the forces raided. Clashes and suffocation injuries.

15. Al-Walaja, northwest of Bethlehem, Wednesday early morning. Village raid with clashes and residents throwing fire bombs on military vehicles. No arrests.

16. Asira al-Qibliya, south of Nablus, slightly after midnight, a raid. Clashes developing on site.

17. Aqabat Jaber Refugee Camp, south of Jericho. Special forces entered the camp before morning. They besieged the house of the Ladaa family. Searches and damage to house content. They arrest the brothers Uday and Qusay. Reinforcement entered the camp. Clashes developed.

18. Al Fawar Refugee Camp, south of Hebron, Wednesday noon. Forces shot on a vehicle and severely injured a young Palestinian, claiming he attempted to run over them. They prevented journalists from approaching or reporting.

19. Beit Hanina, East Jerusalem, Wednesday evening. After Khaled Samer Al-Za’anin was shot (detailed later) near Musrara, the police raided his family home. Searches. They arrested his parents, his sister and his twin brother. They were investigated and released after a few hours. The police used teargas to distance relatives. Suffocation injuries. Later they attacked again during his funeral. They dispersed the participants and arrested a young man.

20. Nablus. East Nablus, 1,500 settlers, secured by the army on their way to Joseph’s tomb (two weeks after the last time). These raids are performed without prior notice, and the Palestinians learn about them since they follow settlers’ activities.

The Palestinians in the Eastern part of the city burned tires and scattered obstacles. A force in the Al-Dachyia neighborhood that secured the pass for the settlers' bus, was attacked with a few highly-powered improvised explosive devices. Four soldiers were wounded, mild to moderate injuries. Knesset member Zvi Sukkot, tweeted about “a delay in tomb pilgrimage”.

Clashes developed in the eastern part of the city. The Palestinians threw fire bombs on a military bulldozer. Entry to the tomb took place.

One Palestinian was injured by live ammunition, three by rubber bullets, and five by shrapnel and stun grenades. Thirty suffocation injuries. The clashes lasted many hours, and later on moved to Balata Refugee Camp.

21. Raids without clashes on Wednesday: Bayt Rima, Shuqba (father and son were arrested on suspicion that the son was involved in a shooting on Nilli Settlement two weeks earlier), Kafr Qallil, Tapuach, al-Khader, Tuqu, Hizma.

22. Kafr Dan, west of Jenin, early morning raid on Thursday. One wounded from live ammunition.

23. Zababdeh, south of Jenin, Thursday. Raid and multiple arrests (most of them released after a few hours). An explosive production laboratory was destroyed, and a house, where weapons were found, was hit.

24. Deir 'Ammar Refugee Camp, west of Ramallah. Raid on the camp after the vehicle-ramming attack in The Beit-Sira checkpoint, where a soldier was killed and five other were wounded. The attacker resided in the camp. An investigation of all family members was held, and house searches conducted. Towards the evening, measurements were taken before demolition. Clashes developed on site. Two Palestinians were injured: one young man by a live bullet to the head, and another girl by a rubber bullet to the eye. Multiple suffocation injuries.

25. Aqraba, north to Tubas. An early Friday morning raid for the arrest of a person of interest, Ahmad Walid Abu-Arra. Forces besieged his house. First they fired live ammunition, rubber bullets, stun grenades and teargas. Then they arrested three, his father, mother and sister, and used them as shields and a pressure measure (Pressure Cooker strategy), demanding he turned himself in. They later shot shoulder missiles towards the house. At the same time, ambulances were not allowed to come near, and live ammunition was fired on one of them. A government hospital surrounding was also shot at in Tubas.

Four wounded, two by live ammunition, one of them died from his wounds. He was unarmed and not involved. The other injured is in a severe condition. Suffocation injuries. The person of interest escaped. His house was demolished by missiles.

26. Krayot, South of Nablus. Like every Friday, the settlers raid the village lake secured by forces, who shoot teargas towards the protesting residents and their houses. suffocation injuries.

27. Beita, South of Nablus. Weekly protest march against the stealing of lands in Jabel Sabih, was attacked with teargas, stun grenades and rubber bullets. The residents burnt tires to prevent forces from aiming. Suffocation injuries.

28. Kafr Qaddum, East of Qalqilya. Weekly protest march against the main road blockage and stealing of lands, clashes develop. 7 wounded from rubber bullets, with suffocation injuries.

29. Bayt Dajan, East of Nablus. In the weekly protest march against the stealing of lands clashes develop. Suffocation injuries.

30. South checkpoint near Qalqilya, Friday. Clashes and teargas shootings. Suffocation injuries.

31. Sheikh Jarrah, East Jerusalem. Forces attack the weekly protest march in the neighborhood to confiscate Palestinian flags. Two arrested.

32. Hebron. Clashes in the South part of the city. Forces shoot live ammunition.

33. Jericho. Clashes in the North entry. No report of casualties.

Demolition, Confiscation and Blocking

1. Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit. Confiscation of a cement mixer during construction works. In another incident, confiscation of bulldozer.

2. Jabel Mukaber, southeast Jerusalem. Demolition warrant for the Kak Family household.

3. Issawiya, northeast Jerusalem. The Occupation Forces build a fence inside the neighborhood, forcing a few houses outside of the fence, with no access to the main road. People are forced to register with the Occupation Forces, who then decide who will be let in and who shall not.

4. Old City Jerusalem. Hamza Jaafer is forced to demolish his home in Al-Saadiyah neighborhood.

5. Al-Bweireh, west of Hebron. Demolition of a two-story home, owned by Ader Al-Tamimi. The forces attacked a Palestinian who tried to prevent the demolition, and deferred journalists. Lands of Al-Bwiereh are considered the food basket of Hebron, and lately the forces have sealed water wells there.

6. Jinba, Masafer Yatta. A convoy of 10 vehicles, 20 staff including journalists, conducted a tour in Masafer Yatta and was detained by the Occupation Forces, who prevented further vehicle movement in firing zone 918. All vehicles were confiscated.

7. Tarqumiyah, west of Hebron. Demolition of two residential buildings, olive trees uprooting and vine planting instead.

8. Silwan, East Jerusalem. Demolition warrants for 9 houses from the Al-Bustan neighborhood.

9. Al-Dyouk-Al-Tachta, west of Jericho. Demolition warrants for 17 houses.

10. At-Tuwani, Masafer Yatta. A 5-year-old girl, stung by a scorpion, is led on donkey-back to the hospital (4 km) because vehicle movement was forbidden.

11. East Jerusalem. As part of the struggle regarding the education syllabus in the Palestinian schools in East Jerusalem, the forces caught school books, meant for a private school, and arrested the driver who drove the books and confiscated the books.

Palestinian Attacks against the Occupation Forces (IOF)

1. Jalamah Checkpoint, Northeast of Jenin, shooting at the checkpoint.

2. Mount Gerizim Military post, Nablus. Shouting at the post.

3. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron. Improvised explosive devices on the military tower. In a different event, shooting at the tower.

4. Dotan Checkpoint, southwest of Jenin. Shooting at the checkpoint.

5. Beit Sira Checkpoint, east of Modi‘in. A Palestinian with travel authorization, passed via the checkpoint in the early morning hours towards the 48 territories. He later returned in a (stolen) truck to the checkpoint, passed it, u-turned and ran over a group of soldiers standing near the checkpoint. One was killed, and five other injured (2 soldiers, 2 civilians and one Palestinian minor). He escaped towards Ni’ilin checkpoint, where he was shot, wounded and later died of his wounds. A week prior he was detained for many hours in the Beit Sira Checkpoint, humiliated and beaten, and since the event, refused to return to work.

Settlers attacks against Palestinians

1. Qusra, South East to Nablus. On Monday, settlers under military protection, block the road connecting Qusra and Jalud. On Thursday, 6 settlers, 3 of them are armed, enter the village. Make threats. Clashes initiated on site. Forces evacuated them. Additionally, settlers started building a road, and connected the outpost, built on Qusra lands, to the power network. It is an extension of the outpost Esh Kodesh.

2. Hebron. Settlers accompanied by the army, block the main entrance with an iron gate.

3. Al-Mughayyir. northeast of Ramallah. Establishment of a new outpost near Mizpe Danny outpost.

4. Wadi As Seeq, northeast of Jerusalem. Settlers entered the village in two sites, claiming to look for stolen sheep (a repeat tactic intended to justify invasions). The shepherds, with assistance, call the police who refuses to come. The settlers approach the shepherds’ houses and the school and cause panic among the students.

The Palestinians fight with the settlers. 2 Palestinians were wounded, 2 settlers wounded. The police and the army arrest 3 Palestinians and zero settlers. The media reports that Palestinians attacked settlers.

5. Madama, south to Nablus. Assault of settlers in the Southern side of the city.

6. Hamra, Jordan Valley. The settler from the outpost attacks on a daily basis the shepherds’ flock.

7. Ein Shibli, Jordan Valley. Settlers settled in house fronts of 3 shepherd communities in the area. It is probable that without the presence of chaperones, they would have assaulted. However, on this occasion, chaperones were present. Forces came and left, as well as settlers. Later on, another settler returned on a horse to drive the cattle away.

8. Ein al Hilwa, Jordan Valley. Settlers attack a shepherd with batons and pepper spray, causing bruises and fractures.

9. East Jerusalem, Jews attack a Palestinian taxi driver. Hit the car. He claims they tried stabbing him.

10. Beit El Checkpoint, North of Al-Bireh. Settlers throw stones on Palestinian drivers and cause damage.

11. Kdumim Junction, east of Qalqilya. Settlers block the road and throw stones.

12. Za’atara Junction, stone throwing on Palestinian cars.

13. Ein Al Rashash, southeast of Nablus. On Friday early morning, settlers invade the community houses, claiming to be police. After talking to the police- no person was sent on their behalf. Threats were made, as well as nose and then they left.

Attacks by Palestinians against settlers

1. Vered Yeriho, South of Jericho, shooting at settlers.

2. Azzun, east of Qalqilya. Stone throwing. A settler was injured. In a different event, a settler received an arm and shoulder injury from stones thrown.

3. Hizma, north of Jerusalem. Stone throwing.

4. Ofra, northeast of Ramallah. Stone throwing on a bus, damage to the vehicle.

5. Nabi Ilyas, east of Qalqilya. A settler was injured in his face from stone throwing. Mild condition.

6. Musrara Jerusalem. A 14-years-old boy stabs a 25-years-old Jew. The Jew escapes to the Shimon Hatzadik station (800 meters from there) before found, fully conscious. A civilian neutralizes the Palestinian boy and takes his knife. A soldier shoots the boy from point blank, while neutralized, and kills him to the sounds of claps from spectators.

The police won’t release the security videos from the stabbing site. According to the family, a few minutes prior, the boy called his father after buying school supplies and asked to be collected. The family demands the release of the videos.

7. Beit Fajjar, south to Bethlehem. Shootings at the Migdal Oz settlement.

8. East Jerusalem. In one episode, a city resident was injured from stone throwing on her car, and in a different incident, the mayor’s son and his wife are injured from stone throwing on their car in Silwan.

9. Dayr Dibwan, east of Ramallah. Stone throwing.

10. Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit. A settler is injured from stone throwing.
