1. OCHA Opt report, a week after the attack of the occupying forces on the Jenin refugee camp, where 23,500 people live (in an area of 0.42 square kilometers), of which 7,150 are children:
‣ 12 dead, of which 4 are minors.
‣ 143 wounded.
‣ 500 families were evicted, 3,500 people.
‣ 460 buildings were destroyed in and around the camp.
‣ 9 km of water infrastructure completely destroyed, no access to clean water, at least 100 houses without sewer connection.
‣ 40% of homes depend on water supply through water carriers.
‣ 3.9 km of roads were completely destroyed. So far, only one road has been partially repaired to allow supplying of essential equipment.
‣ At least 40 families, 173 residents, including 64 children, were left homeless.
‣ Of the 3,500 people who were forced to leave on July 3, some returned to live in half-destroyed houses, in the absence of other options.
During the attack in Jenin, the IOF used Dumdum bullets, which are forbidden to use. The bullet's head is cut and as a result the impact is larger.
2. According to a report by the organization Save The Children (an apolitical human rights organization that aims to raise funds to save children in crisis areas) published on July 10, a sample of 228 Palestinian minors arrested by the occupation forces during the past 3 years shows:
‣ 86% were beaten, usually with guns or sticks.
‣ 42% were injured during their arrest, including live shooting or beatings.
‣ 70% were subject of various psychological tortures: systematic threats to harm them or their family members, death threats.
‣ 44% were forced to watch abuse of other detainees, or listen to such abuse.
‣ 69% were stripped naked for search purposes. Some reported sexual abuse through systematic beatings on the genitals and prolonged touching.
‣ 70% were starved.
‣ 58% were denied water.
‣ 68% were denied medical treatment.
‣ 58% were denied contact with their family during the detention period.
‣ 19% were tortured, blindfolded for extended periods.
‣ 41% tortured by sleep deprivation.
Fatalities
Palestinians:
‣ 21 Palestinians were killed during the month of June 2023.
‣ 19 Palestinians were killed (as of 10.7.2023), during the month of July.
1. Ahmad Hilal Ghethan, 19 years old, resident of Qibya (west of Ramallah). Shot and killed shortly after firing at an Israeli force, killing a soldier and wounding another. No previous violence record. Hamas took responsibility.
2. Hamza Moayyad Maqbool, 32 years old, resident of Nablus. Hamza was shot and killed on Friday, after a raid on the house where he was staying. Exchange of fire for two hours. Witnesses claimed that he was shot while surrendering, after running out of ammunition. According to the IOF, he was involved in shooting at a police car in Mount Gerizim the day before.
3. Khairi Mohamad Shahin, 34 years old, resident of Nablus. Killed in circumstances similar to Hamza Maqbool's.
4. Abdul-Jawad Hamdan Saleh, 24 years old, resident of 'Arura (north of Ramallah). He was shot in the chest by a soldier during a protest procession in Umm Safa, against the new outpost that was built on their land. During the procession they were attacked by settlers and clashes began. Died shortly after.
5. Bilal Ibrahim Qadah, 33 years old, resident of the town of Shuqba (northwest of Ramallah), married + 3 children. Shot after opening fire at a group of soldiers, and trying to throw a hand grenade, near the village of Deir Nidham. The IOF prevented medical aid.
Israelis:
1. Shilo Yosef Amir, 19 years old from Kibbutz Meirav, on Mount Gilboa. A Sayeret Giva'ti soldier. Was shot and killed by a Palestinian at the Kedumim intersection (east of Qalqilya).
More on fatalities:
1. Eyad al-Hallaq, 32 years old, resident of Wadi al-Joz, Diagnosed on the autistic spectrum. Was shot and killed by an Magav soldier on May 30, 2020, even though he was unarmed, and his caregiver, who stood beside him, informed the soldier about his situation. The shooter was acquitted by a Jerusalem district court judge, on the grounds of "self-defense".

2. Ala’ Khalil Qaisiyya, 22 years old, from Ad-Dhahiriya. Shot and killed on May 26, 2023, after stabbing a settler near Tene Omarim. His body, which was held by the IOF, was returned to the family last Friday.
3. Details regarding the circumstances of the death of two of the fatalities in Jenin, on Monday July 3 at noon, lying bleeding on the road as Israeli snipers shoot anyone who tried to approach them. And these are the details:
Ali Hani Al-Ghoul, 17 years old, was shot by a sniper. He was left to bleed on the road until he died. Majdi Ar’arawi, 17 years old, came to Ali Hani Al-Ghoul's rescue. The sniper shot him in the leg, hitting the main artery.
Kamal, Majdi's cousin, tried to tie a tourniquet on Majdi's leg. The sniper shot him in the eye. He fell. The sniper continued to shoot Majdi, hitting him in the chest and the neck. Two dead, one seriously injured. Ambulances couldn't approach, neither paramedics.
Ali's mother saw a photo of the three young men lying down on the road, and recognized her son by the new clothes and shoes he bought for Eid al-Adha.
Arrests and detainees
162 Palestinians have been arrested since the beginning of the year for posts on social media.
1. Arrests:

‣ Muhammad Salhab, 18 years old, third extension, on the day he was supposed to be released.
‣ Suleiman Abu Ghosh, from Ramallah was transferred to administrative detention for 6 months.

‣ Muhammad Arida, from Arraba was transferred to administrative detention for 6 months.
‣ Mahmoud Jaber, from East Jerusalem, third extension for 4 months.
3. Detainees:
‣ Osama Al Salima, a young man with special needs, was being questioned.
‣ Journalist Lama Ghosha, who was under house arrest for 10 months for posts on Facebook, was sentenced to 6 months Probation for 3 years, 9 months of community service and a fine of NIS 4,500.
‣ Solidarity activist Gil Hammershlag spent 8 days in detention for wearing a hat with a picture of Atef Yousef Hanaisha from Bayt Dajan, who was shot and killed two years ago during a protest against land grabbing. According to the police, Gil evoked suspicion and constituted a security risk. He refused to sign conditions of exclusion. Gil was arrested on his way to the home of the Sob Laban family, and was released immediately after the family was expelled.
‣ Solidarity activist Jonathan Polak is still under house arrest.
‣ The Jordan Valley Palestinian activist, Ayman Gharib, was arrested on a false charge of photographing a closed military zone. He was released after being interrogated for documenting the expulsion of Palestinians from Ein Sukkot last week.
Attacks by the IOF on Palestinians
The report is chronological and the day of occurrence is specified.
1. Qalqilya. Thursday morning. A raid on the Nazal neighborhood using teargas. Arrests. early Tuesday morning another raid with teargas. On Saturday, the IOF shot and injured a 16-year-old minor, in the east of the city, near the separation wall.
2. Abu Dis, east of Jerusalem, early Thursday morning. Raid. Clashes, during which the Palestinians burned tires near the separation wall.
3. al Fawar Refugee Camp, south of Hebron, early Thursday morning. Raid and clashes. The IOF fired live ammunition. No injuries were reported.
4. Tell, southwest of Nablus. The IOF shot at a Palestinian vehicle with a family in it, injuring the driver.
5. Qibya, west of Ramallah. The IOF raided the village. Investigations, and measurements of the house of the shooter near Kedumim who killed a soldier, in preparations for demolition.
Clashes in and around the house, and much damage to its contents. Six wounded, three of them from live bullets. The IOF prevented journalists from covering the event, and even detained one of them.
6. Non-confrontational raids on Thursday: ʿEin Sultan Refugee Camp (Jericho), Silwad, Illar, Kaubar, Bayt Rima, Silat ad-Dhahr.
7. Hebron. Friday morning. A raid on the city. Confrontations. Detention of minors in Tel Rumeida. Wednesday a raid on the home of Wafa Agency journalist Jawad al-Tamimi and the homes of his relatives. Extensive damage to the contents of the house (broken doors and windows), teargas firing and suffocation injuries.
8. Nablus, Friday morning. Fifteen undercover men disguised as women, entered the old city and raided a house where two wanted persons for shooting at a police car in Mount Gerizim the day before, were hiding. An exchange of fire began. Motorized military reinforcement is coming in. Exchange of fire around the house for two hours. According to eye-witnesses, when the wanted persons ran out of ammunition, they surrendered, but the soldiers shot and killed them anyway. According to the IOF, they were shot during an exchange of fire.Two dead.
Clashes followed immediately , during which three more were injured (2 from live bullets and a third from a gas tank to his face). According to the Palestinians, the IOF used Dumdum bullets, as they did during the attack on Jenin. Three arrests. Early Tuesday morning, a raid on a house on Asira Street. Detention. Confrontations. Palestinian wounded by live gunfire. The IOF prevented ambulance access.
9. Umm Safa, north of Ramallah, Friday. Palestinians protested a new outpost that was built on their land. The IOF and the settlers attacked the procession (settlers with with stones and clubs), and clashes developed. One Palestinian killed from a live shot in the chest, and another was injured by a rubber bullet. Multiple suffocation injuries.
10. Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, Friday. In the weekly protest procession for the closure of the main road and land grabbing, five Palestinians were injured by rubber bullets and other by suffocation injuries. On Saturday night, settlers raided the village, Palestinians confronted them, the IOF attacked the Palestinians and injure four by live ammunition. One in a serious condition.
11. Budrus, west of Ramallah, Friday. Clashes near the separation wall.
12. Al-Arroub Refugee Camp, north of Hebron. Clashes at the entrance to the camp. Massive firing of teargas. One suffocation injury.
13. The Old City of Jerusalem, Friday. The IOF attacked a support stand for the Sob Laban family, which were about to be deported. Tuesday at 5 am, police forces broke into the house, smashed the door and expeled Mustafa who was at home alone. Nora was in the hospital recovering a surgery.
They detained five activists who stayed at the house. The area was blocked for Palestinians to pass through. Twelve more activists protesting the deportation were arrested near Jaffa Gate a short time later. The settlers immediately invaded the house.

17. Jalbun, northeast of Jenin. Confrontations. Suffocation injuries. A 13-year-old boy was beaten and arrested.
18. Ni'lin, west of Ramallah. Confrontations at the entrance. The IOF fired teargas.
19. At-Tur, East Jerusalem, Sunday. A raid on Al Makassed Hospital and an arrest.
20. Dayr Sharaf, northwest of Nablus, Sunday. The IOF detained journalists, cut tires, and damaged vehicles. One of journalists was briefly detained. On Tuesday, another raid and searches.
21. Shuqba, northwest of Ramallah, Monday. The IOF stormed the house of the shooter in Deir Nidham. Clashes developed that lasted many hours. Wounded by live ammunition, and four by rubber bullets.
22. Aboud, northwest of Ramallah. Clashes during a raid.
23. Rujeib, east of Nablus. Confrontations.
24. Marda, north of Salfit. A raid on the village while throwing stun grenades.
25. Jenin. The IOF shot at a vehicle with a family in it in the city center. Conflicts developed. On Wednesday, the Palestinian security forces prevented the IOF from raiding Jenin during the visit of PA President Mahmoud Abbas.
26. Raids on Monday without confrontations: Bayt Rima, Hizma, Al-Arroub Refugee Camp, Awarta, Qusin, Urif.
27. Dheisheh Refugee Camp, south of Bethlehem. Raid and clashes. The IOF fired live ammunition, teargas and stun grenades. Three arrests and multiple suffocation injuries.
28. Bal'a, northeast of Tulkarm, Wednesday. The IOF shot at a Palestinian vehicle and arrested the driver.
29. Dura, south of Hebron, Wednesday. Clashes due to a raid for arrests.

31. Anata, northeast of Jerusalem, Wednesday. A raid on the town while massively firing teargas. Arrests.

Demolitions, Confiscations and Blockades
1. Sinjil, north of Ramallah. Three entrances to the town were blocked.
2. Issawiya, North East Jerusalem. Confiscation of a vehicle of the released prisoner Muhammad Mustafa. In addition, confiscation of all his money and closing of his bank account. The background - financial aid from the PA during his imprisonment.

9. The old city of Jerusalem. Kiad a Dakdak was forced to destroy his house in the Al Saada neighborhood.
10. Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem. The iron gate was closed to block the main entrance.
11. Beit Hanina, East Jerusalem. Muhammad al-Julani was forced to destroy his house and his shop.
12. Jiftlik, north of Jericho. The IOF issued a closed military zone order on 250 dunams of land near a military camp and a settlement. Twenty five Bedouin families now must leave immediately. Those who live there permanently are allowed to stay but with strict restrictions on movement and construction.
13. An-Naqura, northwest of Nablus. Blocking off the area to allow a group of settlers to have a picnic by the spring. This is area A.
14. Beitunia, west of Ramallah. Confiscation of a bulldozers involved in the restoration of the road between Beitunia and Ein Qiniya.
15. Khirbet Zanuta, Masafer Yatta. Demolition of residential tents.
16. Hebron. Demolition of a cistern owned by Hassan Jaber in the Baqa'a Valley area.
17. Kifl Haris, north of Salfit. Land leveling and uprooting of dozens of olive trees, to install Mekorot water lines to the Barkan industrial zone.
Palestinian attacks on the Occupation Forces (IOF)
1. Nablus. Shooting at the military position on Mount Gerizim.
2. Kedumim junction, east of Qalqilya. A civilian patrol stopped a Palestinian vehicle due to suspicion and let him go. As a military force approached the vehicle later on, the Palestinian opened fire at them, killing a soldier and seriously injuring another. Then he fled his vehicle, and was shot to death a short time later.
3. Sheikh Jarrah, East Jerusalem. Samira Khirbawi, 55, mother of eight, accompanied by a relative, was shot at the Light Rail station near Magav base. The security guard who shot her claimed that she tried to stab. She was slightly injured and taken into custody. There were no injuries among the security guards.
4. Deir Nidham, northwest of Ramallah. A Palestinian got out of his vehicle at the request of the IOF, opened fire and tried to throw a hand grenade. He was shot dead on the spot. There were no casualties among the soldiers. The IOF prevented an ambulance from approaching, and took his body.
5. Nur Shams Refugee Camp, east of Tulkarm. Shooting at a military position.
6. Huwara, south of Nablus. Igniting of a military pillbox.
Settlers attacks on Palestinians
1. Huwara, south of Nablus. Throwing stones at Palestinian vehicles. One injured, and a car was damaged.
2. Ein al-Beida, south of Tubas. Settlers, backed by the IOF, threw stones. The Palestinians confronted them, and the IOF fired teargas at them. Suffocation injuries.
3. Dayr Sharaf Checkpoint, northwest of Nablus. Settlers and soldiers attack Palestinians.
4. Bab El Amoud, East Jerusalem. Provocations backed by the police.
5. Kafr Laqif, east of Qalqilya. Settlers from the Karnei Shomron blocked the road, attacked an ambulance carrying a one-and-a-half-year-old toddler, on its way to the Nablus hospital. They damaged the vehicle, and attacked other vehicles, and injured the physician, Dr. Khaled Ishtiwi.
6. Kufr al-Dik, west of Salfit. Uprooting citrus and almond trees, breaching a fence demarcating agricultural lands, and grazing them while destroying crops.
7. Al Baqa'a, east of Jerusalem (near Mukhmas). Settlers set fire to a residential building in the Bedouin community. A few days later the community decides to leave the place. They despaired of facing the daily aggression of settlers all by themselves. This is the fourth community to leave this year.
8. Ramin, west of Tulkarm. Throwing stones at Palestinian vehicles.
9. Wadi al'Ara'is, east of Bethlehem. Establishment an outpost on the lands of Abd al-Karim al-Khimari.
10. Deir Istiya, west of Salfit. Settlers gathered at the entrance and attempted to attack houses. Clashes with the residents.
11. Hares, west of Salfit. Blocking the entrance to the village and shooting at vehicles.
12. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron. Settlers and soldiers attacked. The soldiers injured a Palestinian. According to documentation, a settler shot and injures one more. Suffocation injuries.
