‣ The month of June in numbers in East Jerusalem: 1 death, 134 arrests, 13 administrative detainees, 19 house demolitions, 26 deportation orders, 28 house arrests.

‣ July 2 - the ninth anniversary of the assassination of Mohammed Abu Khdeir. On July 2, 2014, he was kidnapped by three Israelis near his residence in Shuafat, tortured, soaked in petrol and set on fire while still alive. The background - the kidnapping and murder of Eyal Yifarh, Gil-Ad Shaar and Naftali Frankel, near Hebron.

 

Arrests and detainees

1. Arrests


During the holiday, 42 Palestinians and solidarity activists were arrested: 'Atara 1; Al-Aqsa 19; Al-Ram 4; Shuafat Refugee Camp 1 (minor); Za'atara Checkpoint 1; Urif 3; Masafar Yetta 7; Ein Sukkot 1; az-Za'ayyem Checkpoint 1; Jaba' Checkpoint 2; Silwan 1; Umm Safa 1.



2. Administrative detentions

1100 administrative detainees are held in Israeli prisons.

Mohammed Mana, a journalist, was transferred to administrative detention for six months.

Mahmoud Talhama, 32 years old, Abdullah Abdo, 36 years old, Anas Shadid, 26 years old - administrative detainees, have been on hunger strike for 15 days.


 

Attacks by the IOF on Palestinians

1. Al Aqsa, Wednesday, the first day of the holiday. The forces raided and attacked the worshipers in Bab al-Rahma (the eastern part of al-Aqsa) and arrested eighteen worshipers on their way out of the holiday prayer.


2. Einabus, south of Nablus, Wednesday. Clashes. Massive firing of teargas and suffocation wounded.


3. Asira al-Qibliya, south of Nablus, early Thursday morning. Raid, exchange of fire, no arrests. The forces retreated.


4. Jenin, Thursday. A special forces raid, looking for a wanted person who escaped. Retreated. Later during the day, the western entrance (Haifa Street) was raided, teargas was fired and a temporary curfew was imposed. Friday - Internet disruptions and a massive presence of drones over the Refugee Camp.


5. Urif, south of Nablus, Thursday. The forces raided and searched several houses, and surrounded one of the houses for several hours. A Palestinian TV crew was attacked. Confrontations including live fire. Arrests. Suffocation injuries.


6. Tura, west of Jenin, Thursday. Raid. Massive firing of teargas and stun grenades. Confrontations. Suffocation injuries.


7. Burin, south of Nablus, early Friday morning. Clashes during a raid. The forces fired teargas, rubber bullets and stun grenades. Two injured by rubber bullets.


8. Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, raid on Friday. Confrontations. No arrests or injuries.


9. Kafr Qallil, south of Nablus, raid on Friday. Confrontations. No arrests or injuries.


10. Salem, east of Nablus, Friday. Raid and confrontations without injuries or arrests. Another raid on Saturday.


11. Deir al-Hatab, east of Nablus, Friday. Raid. Confrontations. No arrests or injuries.


12. Ya'bad, west of Jenin, Friday. Raid. Confrontations. No arrests.


13. Burqa, northwest of Nablus, Friday early morning. A raid and clashes during which the Palestinians threw fire bombs at military vehicles.


14. Ein Sukkot, northern Jordan Valley. Settlers took over a spring that was a source for watering herds and fields, and turned it into a tourist attraction. Palestinians are denied access. On Friday, when a Palestinian family enter, soldiers arrived and expelled them from the spring without a court order. The family refused and a verbal confrontation began. The soldiers detained one of the family members.


15. Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, Friday. During the weekly protest march against the land grabbing and the closing of the main road, seven were injured by rubber bullets, and several others suffered suffocation injuries. On Saturday another round of clashes.


16. Bayt Dajan, east of Nablus, Friday. During the weekly protest march against the land grabbing, the forces fired teargas and caused suffocation injuries.


17. Beita, south of Nablus, Friday. During the weekly protest march against the land grabbing in Jabel Sabih (Eviatar) the forces fired teargas. No injuries were reported. Early Saturday morning - a raid on the town with massive firing of teargas.


18. Krayot, southeast of Nablus. Two years ago settlers took over the village spring and destroyed the irrigation system. Every Friday since, they are coming down to the spring, under military umbrella. Also on Friday, the Palestinians protested, and the army fired teargas into the houses. Suffocation injuries. A soldier was recorded vandalizing a vehicle.


19. Rujeib, east of Nablus, Saturday. Raid. No arrests.


20. Huwara, south of Nablus, Sunday. The army forced shops to close and fired teargas. Suffocation injuries inside one of the shops.


21. Jabel Mukaber, southeast Jerusalem. Clashes in Al Madras neighborhood. The Palestinians shot firecrackers.

 

Demolitions, Confiscations and Blockades

1. Khirbet Yarza, east of Tubas. Demolition order for a residential building, under the pretext that it is an archaeological site.

2. as-Samu, south of Hebron. Demolition order for a house built on Palestinian land, but "too close to a settlement".

3. Umm Tuba, East Jerusalem. Abdelkarim Abu Tir had to destroy his own house, otherwise the municipality would, and then would fine him.

 

Palestinian attacks on the Occupation Forces (IOF)

1. Jalamah Checkpoint, northeast of Jenin. Shooting at a military position.

2. Huwara Checkpoint, south of Nablus. Firecrackers on a military post.

 

Settles attacks on Palestinians

1. Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron. Settlers who set up a new outpost confronted Palestinians and injured ten (cuts and bruises). The army arrested four Palestinians and three activists.


2. East Jerusalem. Provocations against Palestinians on their holiday. This is under the protection of the Ministry of Defense.


3. Mu'arrajat, west of Jericho. Settlers attacked a Palestinian child and broke his arm. A well-known settler threw a corpse of a shepherd dog (which they apparently slaughtered earlier) at the entrance of the shepherds' encampment. In the past they used to throw sheep corpses.


4. Dura al-Qari'a, north of Ramallah. Settlers, under the protection of the army, attacked the village and set fire to fields. The forces fired live ammunition, stun grenades and teargas.


5. At-Tuwani, Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron. Settlers set fire to over two acres of olive seedlings, barley and wheat.


6. Hebron. On Friday evening, settlers attacked houses in the Wadi al-Hussein area. On Saturday, the weekly provocative march in the Old City, with army protection.


7. Qabbun, northeast of Ramallah. Armed settlers surrounded activists who set out for an agricultural solidarity action, blocked their way and threatened them.


8. al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah. Settlers set up a new outpost in a strategic location, on the only exit from the mountain to the Jordan Valley. It joins the six new outposts that were already set up: in Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, Umm Safa, Mukhmas, Mu'arrajat, Tuqu' and in Deir Istiya.


9. Kufr al-Dik, west of Salfit. Armed settlers attacked two Palestinians while they were working in the fields. The Palestinian were wounded, and the forces arrested one of the attackers.


10. Qarawat Bani Hassan, western to Salfit. Settlers set fire to an outdoor recreation site set up by Palestinians to honor the holiday.


11. Asira al-Qibliya, south of Nablus. Settlers set fire to a truck.


12. Yasuf, southeast of Nablus. Settlers attacked a Palestinian vehicle, and damaged it.


13. Aqraba, southeast of Nablus. Settlers stole sheep from a Palestinian in the Khirbat Yanun area.


14. Burqa, northwest of Nablus. Settlers Threw rocks at a house, and a woman and her children were trapped in.

 

Palestinians attacks on settlers

1. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron. Palestinians threw stones at a bus.

2. Huwara, south of Nablus. Palestinians threw stones and damaged a vehicle. No casualties.
