Palestinians killed
‣ 451 persons killed, 112 minors among them;
‣ 435 of them by the Israeli army;
‣ 10 of them by colonists;

Displaced persons
‣ 1,700 Palestinians have been displaced due to house demolitions (no construction permits, collective punishment and military operations);
‣ 86 were displaced during the April 12-13 pogroms by colonists after 21 homes were totally torched.
Colonist violence
‣ 776 colonist attacks have been documented since October 7th. 160 of these ended in casualties. The army was present in about half of the attacks, sometimes actively involved;
‣ In April 12-14, 45 attacks were documented in 37 villages, towns and shepherd communities. In that time, 4 persons were killed by colonists (no certainty about 2 of them), one of them a minor;
‣ 21 houses and 32 vehicles totally torched;
‣ 220 sheep slaughtered by colonists or stolen;
‣ 360 trees vandalized;
‣ In addition to torching, shootings and stone throwing, the army accompanied the colonists with varying levels of involvement;
Al Mughayyir. Difficult watching
‣ The army placed checkpoints at villages and on roads (especially Road 60) and prevented ambulance access;
‣ Human Rights Watch organization studied the circumstances of the eviction of 20 shepherd communities in October and November, 2023 (1,200 displaced persons, 600 of them minors). Evidence shows armed colonists with active participation of army units blocking roads, raiding communities, arresting, attacking, threatening death and handing out leaflets warning of revenge or destruction.
‣ 27 witnesses reported men wearing army garb and armed with M16 rifles taking part in these events;
‣ In addition, the Israeli army recruited 5,500 colonists (including those with a criminal record due to violence against Palestinians) and posted them in regional defense position in addition to their civilian duties.
‣ 7,000 firearms were handed out to these recruits.

Exact number unknown;
‣ 116 children orphaned of one or both parents.

Palestinians wounded
‣ 76,770 Palestinians wounded;
‣ 6,000 Palestinians critically wounded, 3,000 chronically ill patients in serious condition need urgent evacuation;
‣ At least 1,000 children remained without limbs (updated in early January);
‣ According to Physicians Without Borders organization, some of the amputations could have been prevented if the health system had been equipped;
‣ According to UN Women - over a million women’s and girls’ health is in danger for lack of clean water and basic sanitation.
Israelis wounded
‣ 4,500 Israelis wounded on October 7th, 1,641 of them soldiers;
‣ Since fighting broke out, 1,561 soldiers have been wounded.
Arrested
Number unknown. Israel refuses to share data.
‣ 3,000 are known with certainty to have been arrested. Prisoners Club estimates that double this number have been arrested;
‣ 849 are defined as illegal fighters;
‣ 23 minors are held at Megiddo prison;
‣ 310 medical staff workers are held in custody;
‣ At least 20 journalists are held in custody.

1. At least 20 persons arrested.
2. Administrative detention:
‣ Journalist Asma Haresh was transferred to 3 months administrative detention.
‣ Journalist Mostafa Al Hawajar’s administrative detention has been extended for 6 months.
3. Nur Jarbu’a was critically injured during his arrest two years ago at the Jenin refugee camp. During his time in the prison clinic, as he suffered from an infected spine that needed surgery, Itamar Ben Gvir obtained the telephone number of the family from the prison clinic and called to threaten that he will see to it that Nur will not undergo surgery. Now, two years later, Nur has been released, paralyzed.

8. Jinba, Masafer Yatta - teargas fired at shepherd and his flock while grazing on land at the entrance to the village. Later, the shepherd was arrested for documenting the incident.

2. The military court re-validated and approved 74 administrative detention orders today for periods of 4-6 months. Among the detainees without any indictment or legal proceedings - 2 women.
3. At Dura a minor girl was arrested for standing and filming with her cell phone at the entrance.

3. Jayus, east of Qalqilya - fifth day of siege. Confrontations.

5. East Jerusalem - the Israel Supreme Court rejected the petition presented by the family of Ayad Al Halaq, contesting the District Court’s decision to acquit the policeman who killed him. Ayad, 32-years-old, on the autistic spectrum, was shot to death by a border policeman although he was unarmed, did not threaten the policeman in any way and was with his caregiver who explained his condition. All this, in May 2020.

Massive surge of attacks focused on Central Strip and Wadi Gaza (the line dividing the strip’s north and center). The Israeli army began a ground invasion at Nuseirat and fighting continued in Al Zahara and Al-Mughraqa as well as the surroundings of Wadi Gaza Bridge.

Before the fate of the 14-year-old is known, riots have broken out in various areas:
1. Al Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah - close to Malachei Hashalom outpost, hundreds of armed colonists raided the village and opened live fire at houses, torched vehicles and homes.
The army prevented ambulance access and exit of private cars with wounded people from the village. Confrontations of colonists with Palestinians as the Israeli army actively backs up the colonists.

3. Sebastia, north-west of Nablus - shots from Shavei Shomron colony towards Sebastia (the emergency squad).
4. Khirbet Al Marajim, north-east of Ramallah - after the army searched houses, armed colonists came and searched 17 houses, confiscated cell phones to avoid documentation, vandalized house contents, killed sheep and lamps, tore up animal feed sacks.

1. The body of Benyamin Achimeir was found between Duma and Al Mughayyir villages, not far from the outpost, with signs of violence.

No separation this time, since on this eventful day, colonists attacked in many places and the army either stood passive by or attacked Palestinians in order to protect colonists, even raiding those places.

3. As-Sawiya, south of Nablus - houses attacked. 5 houses damaged from stones thrown.

5. Qusra, south-east of Nablus - village raided, 6 houses torched, 4 cars and many other damages in the village.
6. Tarqumiyah, west of Hebron - colonists caused heavy damage to houses and cars.
7. Beitin, east of Ramallah - raid with live fire, torching a vehicle. Confrontations with soldiers who protected the colonists. A 14-year-old wounded by live fire. Later, a 17-year-old shot by colonists and died of his wounds.
8. Silwad, north-east of Ramallah - main road blocked, stones thrown and damages to cars.

Expulsion
1. Supreme Court Judge Noam Sohlberg allows the eviction of 3 families (35 persons) from their homes in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood (East Jerusalem) in spite of the ruling to wait for the legal adviser’s opinion and freezing of the eviction. The 3 Diab families (Salah Diab is known from the neighborhood’s struggle against the eviction) have been targeted for eviction since July 15th. For 56 years they have been living in their homes and have been involved in legal proceedings since 2009. The Nahalat Shimon Association - financed by Christian Evangelists, is the one about to take over their houses.
Colonist attacks
1. Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah - stones thrown at Palestinian vehicles.
2. Aqraba, south-east of Nablus - dozens of armed colonists come to Khirbet Al Taweel area and open fire. 2 Palestinians killed on the spot. Shepherds.
Confrontations break out between Palestinians and the colonists. The army opens fire at Palestinians.
3 persons wounded by live fire. The army prevented rescue of the killed persons, attacked the ambulance team and took away the bodies. According to reports, a colonist who had been sanctioned abroad was seen among the attacking colonists.
Soldiers stood by during the attack. In March another Palestinian villager was killed by colonists. No one was arrested.
3. Bruqin, west of Salfit - colonists attack vehicles.
4. Shab El Butm, Masafer Yatta - colonists torch a car.
5. Qarawat Bani Hassan - colonists uproot 30 olive trees and several almond trees, and destroy a fence around the tended area.
6. Ras Al Ein, north-west of Jericho - colonists threaten Palestinians to destroy their pipe lines and stop their water supply.

150 arrestees released, many of them with clear signs of abuse or medical neglect. The Red Crescent announces that 2 paramedics held in custody for 50 days had been released. The fate of another 6 is unknown.
